Need I say more.
On Thursday evening some of the Tusk Team headed on over to a sneak preview of Rabbit + Cocoons new cultural spaces. The event played host to a packed out crowd of arts, fashion, film and music insiders; with R+C set to become an exciting new cultural hub for the Coast. A unique night out, the enthusiastic crowd highlighted the growing cultural diversity on the Gold Coast. Tusk is set to keenly follow the progression of R+C and the evolution of the Coasts cultural landscape.
Wow, now this is seriously cool and has us all excited. The team at Kogeto have developed Dot - the world's smallest panaromic video camera for use with your iPhone4. 360° VIDEO, not still photo, in a a simple to use 'snap-on' device.
As with a lot of the type of gadgets these days, Kogeto are calling for 'pledges' through the Kickstarter site to assist them with gaining the funds to see Dot through to production.

I really should't be the one writing this blog... I'm not really the go-to-nerd in the office, but when I saw this, the techni-geek inside of me flipped out! So here it is, my homage to HTML5. I landed on the AF site and entered in the city I grew up in, the Gold Coast. Next thing I know my screen is being bombarded with interacting browser windows, orchastrated movements, interactive drawing, blooming trees and spinning street scapes. I'm told the AF vid has been around for a while now, however with HTML5 so topical ATM, I thought it was worth sharing. If you haven't already, enjoy...

The momentum has been building for the past 3 years and the Gold Coast Suns have now hit the official AFL. The intensity has been growing in-line with the teams presence and fan following. TUSK has been supporting the team in its journey to join the official Australian Football League, by servicing their print and digital requirements. Our most recent projects include; the schools program Shine Magazine, press advertising, Stadium Bricolage sign, Metricon Stadium website and corporate stationairy, direct mail, online marketing banners, life-size player cut-out, promotional flags, pocket football guide, plus many more items. Our ongoing involvement with the Gold Coast Suns is a credit to their hard work and the dedication they have shown toward building a strong team presence and gaining the communities support.
Metricon Stadium will host its first sporting event this Saturday night as the Gold Coast Suns face off with the Geelong Cats. Metricon Stadium is the newest addition to the Gold Coast's growing hub of World Class venues and facilities. Tusk was proud to deliver the new website for Metricon Stadium, providing locals and visitors with an abundance of information and updates. Check out the site for all of your detail needs; events, functions, transport, news, media, social and contact details.

14 PEOPLE - 7 TEAMS - 1 IDEA: Create something different.
The creative process can be very insular. No matter whether you're a fine artist, a designer, a developer or a writer, coming up with - and executing - ideas can be a lonely process involving just you and your imagination.
We believe that great minds really do think alike... no matter how different they are. By inviting seven pairs of creatives from diverse fields to work together, we're challenging them to look past their vastly different creative processes and skill sets and concentrate instead on what they do best - being creative. The resulting collaborative artworks could be disasterous, or they could be truly mind-blowing, but what they definitely won't be is boring.
